On this special tour, where we will explore one of the most mystical and historically rich regions of Antalya, Demre (ancient Myra) and Kekova Island await you. We will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning and head to Demre. Our first stop will be the historic church where St. Nicholas, known as Santa Claus, served as a bishop and is buried. In this Byzantine-era building, you will see magnificent frescoes and mosaics. Our guide will tell you about the life of St. Nicholas and the origins of the Santa Claus tradition. Next, we will visit the ancient city of Myra. Here, you will see impressive Lycian tombs carved into the rocks and a 10,000-seat Roman theater. After lunch, we will set sail for Kekova Island on our private boat tour. During the boat tour, you will have the opportunity to see the sunken ancient city underwater. The ancient ruins, which can be easily spotted in the clear waters, are perfect for photography.
