On this special tour, in which we'll discover one of Antalya's most mystical and history-rich regions, Demre (ancient Myra) and Kekova Island await you. You'll be picked up from your hotel in the early morning and set off for Demre. Our first stop is the historic church where Saint Nicholas, known as Santa Claus, served as bishop and where his tomb is located. In this Byzantine-era structure, you'll see magnificent frescoes and mosaics. Our guide will tell you about the life of Saint Nicholas and the origins of the Santa Claus tradition. Next, we'll head to the ancient city of Myra. Here, the impressive Lycian tombs carved into the rocks and the 10,000-seat Roman theater are well worth seeing. After lunch, we'll set sail for Kekova Island on our private boat tour. During the boat tour, you'll have the chance to see the sunken ancient city underwater. The ancient ruins, easily visible through the crystal-clear waters, make for magnificent photos.
